Session TWO

This week we look at the "tip of the tongue." Some of these exercises require the tongue to make a point, using the transverse muscles of the tongue. If a point is difficult to achieve, tap the point  with a chopstick and see if the tongue responds (neuromuscular stimulation = nerve awakening). 

Use a mirror in these exercises. Also remember posture. Sit tall, as if you have a string from your head to the ceiling. 

Take sips of water if needed between swallowing exercises. Reduce the reps if it's too much (for children).
